Code injection in GlobalProtect App 6.0, 6.2, and 6.3 for Windows allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute code as SYSTEM. Palo Alto Networks identifies improper input validation in the Windows PLAP component but has not disclosed the input, code locus, or validation failure that produces the injection. Exposure requires SAML authentication in Connect Before Logon, and successful exploitation grants SYSTEM-level control of the Windows client.
