MitM interception via improper certificate validation
Published Aug 13, 2026 · Updated Aug 13, 2026
Certificate validation flaws in Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect App allow man-in-the-middle attackers to alter application communications. Palo Alto Networks has not published the affected communication endpoints or the certificate-validation operation that accepts an untrusted peer. No special configuration is required; an unauthenticated adjacent attacker can read and modify non-tunnel application traffic, while VPN tunnel traffic is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
