Protection mechanism failure in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access Agent before 26.3 on Windows allows local users to bypass anti-tamper protection. Palo Alto Networks has not published the vulnerable code locus or the incorrect operation that defeats the protection. The bypass requires local administrator privileges and no special configuration, and it permits unauthorized access to agent-protected processes and files.
