Buffer overflows in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS User-ID TSA allow remote attackers to crash devices or execute arbitrary code via crafted traffic. Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed the specific parser or field, only that the TSA component performs out-of-bounds writes while processing specially crafted network traffic. Exposure requires at least one configured TSA entry; restricting its IP and port to trusted internal addresses limits reachability.
