Unauthorized site-to-site VPN via missing authentication

Authentication bypass in PAN-OS 10.2, 11.1, 11.2, and 12.1 allows remote attackers to establish unauthorized site-to-site VPN connections. Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed which LSVPN authentication check fails or how a network request bypasses it. Exposure requires a firewall using LSVPN with configured satellites; exploitation joins an unauthorized site to the VPN and grants access to resources reachable through that connection.
