Unauthenticated temporary-file deletion via management interface
Published Jul 9, 2026 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
File deletion in the PAN-OS management web interface allows remote attackers to delete files from a temporary directory via crafted requests. Palo Alto Networks identifies improper input validation but has not disclosed the request handler, attacker-controlled field, or input-validation error that selects files for deletion. Unauthenticated network access to the management web interface is required, and the documented consequence is limited to temporary-file deletion.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
