Code execution via IKEv2 buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in PAN-OS IKEv2 processing allows remote attackers to execute code with elevated firewall privileges or cause a crash. Palo Alto Networks identifies an out-of-bounds write but has not disclosed the specific IKEv2 parser operation or malformed field that overruns the buffer. Exposure requires an IKEv2 VPN tunnel configured with non-NIST-approved Post Quantum Cryptography ciphers; successful exploitation compromises the firewall or interrupts service.
