Authenticated JavaScript execution via stored web payload

Stored XSS in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS 10.2, 11.1, 11.2, and 12.1 allows remote authenticated users to persist JavaScript through the web interface. Palo Alto Networks has not disclosed the affected input field or the server-side neutralization failure that permits the payload to remain stored and execute when another user renders the affected interface content. Administrator privileges and passive interaction by a second user are required, enabling access to browser-visible data and modification of actions within the interface.
