CVE-2026-0243

Adjacent-network disruption via crafted IPv6 packet

Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026

Denial of service in Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN ION devices allows remote attackers to disrupt service via crafted IPv6 packets. The vendor identifies CWE-606 in IPv6 packet handling but has not published the affected component or how packet fields control the unchecked loop. Exploitation requires adjacent-network reachability and enabled IPv6 processing; the reported consequence is system disruption without data disclosure or modification.
