Security-control bypass via exposed automation bridge
Published May 13, 2026 · Updated May 13, 2026
Improper alternate-path protection in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Browser before 146.16.6.165 allows local users to bypass security controls. On macOS, the internal automation bridge exposes a communication channel that accepts unauthorized browser commands without properly restricting non-admin access. An authenticated non-admin account and an unspecified attack condition are required; successful use permits browser commands that the controls should block.
