CVE-2026-0233

SYSTEM code execution via improperly validated certificate

Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026

Certificate validation failure in ADEM 5.10.0 through 5.10.13 on Windows allows attackers to execute SYSTEM-level code from adjacent networks. Palo Alto Networks identifies the affected trust object as an ADEM certificate but has not published which Windows agent component accepts it or which validation check is missing. No authentication, user interaction, or special configuration is required; successful exploitation grants SYSTEM privileges and control of the endpoint.
