CVE-2026-0231

Sensitive data access via live terminal session

Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026

Information disclosure in Cortex XDR Broker VM before 30.0.49 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter sensitive data via Cortex UI. The Cortex UI starts a live terminal session when a configuration setting is modified, exposing sensitive information and permitting its alteration; the vendor has not disclosed the faulty data-handling operation. Exploitation requires high-privilege authentication and network access to the Broker VM, but no special configuration or user interaction.
