CVE-2026-0228Network attack vector

Unauthorized agent connection via expired certificate acceptance

Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026

Improper certificate validation in PAN-OS and Prisma Access allows remote authenticated users to connect using expired agent certificates. The certificate-validation path accepts an expired Windows Terminal Server Agent certificate even when configured policy would reject it. Exposure requires a PAN-OS device configured to connect to a Windows Terminal Server Agent; the documented effect is an unauthorized agent connection, not code execution or service interruption.
