CVE-2026-0142

Local information disclosure via undersized RSA key

Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in Android's bootloader AVB RSA parser allows local users to disclose memory through a malformed public-key buffer. iavb_parse_key_data calls avb_rsa_public_key_header_validate_and_byteswap before ensuring the input contains a complete AvbRSAPublicKeyHeader. A local user with low privileges can trigger the read without user interaction, exposing adjacent memory but not enabling modification or service interruption.
