CVE-2026-0100

Local privilege escalation via heap buffer overflow

Published Jun 1, 2026 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Heap buffer overflow in Android 14, 15, 16, and 16 QPR2 allows local users to escalate privileges without user interaction. The Load operation in LoadedArsc.cpp performs an out-of-bounds write to heap memory while parsing malformed ARSC resource data. A low-privileged local process must cause the framework resource loader to parse the data; successful exploitation gains higher device privileges.
