CVE-2026-0073Public exploit

Adjacent RCE via wireless ADB authentication logic error

Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026

Authentication bypass in Android 14, 15, 16, and 16 QPR2 allows remote attackers to execute code as the shell user via wireless ADB. The adbd_tls_verify_cert function treats nonmatching EVP_PKEY_cmp error results for non-RSA keys as successful certificate matches. Exploitation requires reachable wireless debugging or ADB over TCP and an existing paired RSA host key; no user interaction is required.
