Persistent denial of service in Google Android 14, 15, 16, and 16-qpr2 allows local users to leave a device unusable through Settings. The updateState flow for GraphicsDriverEnableAngleAsSystemDriverController permits the experimental Enable ANGLE switch to select ANGLE as the system driver without warning that the setting can brick a commercial device. Low-privilege local access is required, but no action by another user is needed; the persistent state can make device data unavailable and force a factory reset.
