Integer overflow in Android System 14 through 16-qpr2 allows local users to cause a persistent service interruption without interaction. The affected UBSan handling path turns sanitizer-detected arithmetic errors into a hard abort rather than recoverable C++ exceptions. A low-privileged local user can trigger the condition without further execution privileges; the reported consequence is persistent availability loss.
