Published Oct 11, 2025 · Updated Oct 11, 2025
Server-side request forgery in Rico Macchi WP Scraper 5.8.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access internal services. The wp_scraper_extract_content function accepts a supplied URL without restricting its destination and makes the WordPress server retrieve the resulting resource. Administrator-level access is required; successful requests can read internal service data or cloud instance metadata, with no reported direct availability impact.
