Settings reset via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Arya Dhiratara Optimize More! 1.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset optimization settings. The reset_plugin function processes a settings-reset request without valid WordPress nonce verification, allowing a forged administrator request to trigger the reset. Exploitation requires user interaction: a site administrator must be induced to submit the forged request, and the reported consequence is limited to changing plugin settings.
