Authenticated remote code execution via unrestricted upload
Published Sep 4, 2025 · Updated Sep 4, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in CodeAstro Real Estate Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side PHP code. The submitproperty.php handler accepts a PHP file in the aimage field when labeled image/jpeg and stores it under the web-accessible admin/property path. A valid PHP session with low privileges is required; reaching the uploaded file executes attacker-supplied commands on the web server.
