Form modification via missing cforms_api nonce validation
Published Sep 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 27, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in cForms 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify forms and settings via forged requests. The cforms_api function accepts administrative form changes without correctly validating a request nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to perform an attacker-induced action, such as opening a crafted link.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
