CVE-2025-9893Network attack vector

Settings reset via missing nonce validation

Published Sep 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 27, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in VM Menu Reorder plugin 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset all menu ordering settings. The vm_set_to_default function performs the state-changing reset without validating a request nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to submit the forged request, and the bounded consequence is loss of configured menu ordering.
