Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Oct 3, 2025 · Updated Oct 3, 2025
Stored XSS in Ticket Spot Event Tickets, RSVPs, Calendar 1.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via ticket_spot. The shortcode handler inserts user-supplied attributes into generated page markup without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored payload executes in the browser whenever a visitor opens the affected page.
