User enumeration via asymmetric password hashing
Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Sep 3, 2025
Observable response discrepancy in Mautic allows remote attackers to enumerate valid usernames through unauthenticated login timing. The form-login authenticator hashes a supplied password only when the username exists, producing a measurable delay absent for unknown names. Network access to the login form is sufficient; the oracle reveals account validity but does not disclose passwords or grant access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
