Trusted-content manipulation via unvalidated image source
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Frame injection in expressCart at commit b31302f4e99c3293bd742c6d076a721e168118b0 allows remote authenticated users to alter trusted page content. The Edit Product Page accepts a user-controlled image source and renders it into trusted content without neutralizing a frame-loading value. Administrative privileges and user interaction are required; successful exploitation loads an untrusted frame for internal-service probing, information gathering, or content manipulation.
