Authenticated router crash via oversized submit-url
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A702R 4.0.0-B20211108.1423 allows remote authenticated users to crash the router via submit-url. The sub_418030 function in /boafrm/formParentControl copies an oversized submit-url value without enforcing the destination buffer's bounds. Access to the router's authenticated management interface is required, and the demonstrated consequence is termination of the affected program rather than verified code execution.
