Authenticated memory corruption via oversized mac parameter
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A702R 4.0.0-B20211108.1423 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory via a crafted mac parameter. The sub_419BE0 handler for /boafrm/formIpQoS copies the mac request value without validating that it fits the destination buffer. Low-privilege access to the router interface is required; successful exploitation can disclose or alter data or crash the device.
