CVE-2025-9776Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated database disclosure via unparameterized CSV attachments

Published Sep 11, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

SQL injection in CatFolders 2.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to read sensitive database data. The CSV import controller splits the untrusted attachments field and passes its values to FolderModel::set_attachments(), which concatenates them into an unparameterized SQL IN clause. An Author-level account with access to the REST import endpoint is required, and time-based queries expose database information without reported write or service impact.
