Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked profile upload
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Remote Clinic 2.0 allows remote attackers to upload executable files through the staff profile endpoint. The staff profile-editing PHP handler accepts the image multipart field without validating the file type, size, content, or storage path. No login is required, and a server-executable uploaded script runs with the web server's privileges, enabling unauthorized server operations and data access.
