CVE-2025-9772Network attack vector

File upload via unvalidated staff image content

Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025

Unrestricted file upload in Remote Clinic 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to store attacker-controlled content through the image field. The staff/edit.php handler copies the temporary upload directly to media/staff/.png without validating its content or confirming that it is an image. Reaching the handler requires the add_staff permission, and the result is an attacker-controlled file in a web-served directory; code execution depends on server handling of .png files.
