Authenticated command execution via unfiltered NVRAM value
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Command injection in D-Link DI-7400G+ 19.12.25A1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary device commands. mng_platform.asp stores the unfiltered addr parameter as ac_mng_srv_host in NVRAM, and wayos_ac_server.asp interpolates that value into a proxy_client command passed to jhl_system. Exploitation requires authenticated access, opt=proxy, and enabled proxy_ac_status and ac_server_enable settings; successful commands run with the web service's device privileges.
