Script injection via unencoded msg reflection
Published Sep 1, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in index.php in Khanakag-17 Library Management System allows remote attackers to inject script through msg. The page reflects the msg query value into its HTML response without context-appropriate output encoding, so a crafted request runs attacker-controlled script in a visitor's browser. No authentication is required to supply the parameter, but exploitation requires a user to load the crafted URL and is limited to content accessible in that browser session.
