Task hijacking in Modo Global Legend of the Phoenix 1.0.0 through 1.0.5 allows local users to substitute a phishing activity for the game. AndroidManifest.xml leaves taskAffinity at its package-name default, allowing a malicious app to declare the same affinity and place a singleTask activity at the task root. Exploitation requires installation and use of the malicious app before the game opens; the spoofed activity can capture credentials or solicit permissions.
