Task hijacking via shared task affinity
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Aug 29, 2025
Task hijacking in Rejseplanen App 8.2.0 through 8.2.2 allows local users to overlay the legitimate app with a phishing activity. AndroidManifest.xml retains the package-name task affinity, letting a malicious singleTask activity claim the same task stack and surface first. Exploitation requires the user to install and run a malicious app, then open Rejseplanen; the counterfeit activity can capture entered data or solicit permissions.
