Browser script execution via reflected Name input
Published Aug 29, 2025 · Updated Aug 29, 2025
Reflected XSS in Mtons Mblog 3.0 through 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via the Name parameter. The /admin/role/list handler returns attacker-controlled Name input in page content without sufficient neutralization. No authentication is required to submit the request, but a user must load the crafted response; the resulting script can alter browser-displayed content.
