Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Aug 30, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in WPDreams Related Posts Lite 1.12 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings through a forged request. The settings update handler in backend/settings.php accepts state-changing request data without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to be tricked into submitting the request, and the documented impact is limited to plugin-settings changes.
