CVE-2025-9584Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via webmgnt argument injection

Published Aug 28, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025

Command injection in COMFAST CF-N1 V2 2.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through its web interface. The update_interface_png function in /usr/bin/webmgnt incorporates the interface and display_name arguments into a shell command without neutralizing command syntax. A valid management session and network reachability are required, after which commands run with the web-management service's privileges.
