Administrator command execution via unsanitized backup input
Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Command injection in TYPO3 Backup Plus 13.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands during backup creation. The extension passes unsanitized backup input into an OS command, but TYPO3 has not identified the affected field, function, or command-building path. A valid administrator account is required, and successful injection permits host-side command execution in the TYPO3 server context.
