Code execution via unauthorized automation import
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Code injection in SWEET CODE CHEF SL AutomatorWP 5.3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to stage arbitrary automations. The automatorwp_ajax_import_automation_from_url AJAX handler imports an external automation definition without checking the caller's WordPress capability. Subscriber-level access reaches the handler, but an administrator must activate the imported automation before it executes code or escalates privileges.
