Administrator arbitrary file upload via unchecked import
Published Sep 6, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Mondula GmbH Multi Step Form 1.7.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload files via import. The handle_json_upload method passes an accepted upload to import_json without checking for embedded PHP code or validating the required JSON structure. Administrator privileges are required, and the direct consequence is an arbitrary server-side file write; code execution depends on server handling and the upload location.
