Account compromise via unenforced registration password policy
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Weak password requirements in macrozheng mall 1.0.0 through 1.0.3 allow remote attackers to target accounts protected by weak passwords. The /sso/register controller passes the supplied password to memberService.register without enforcing length, complexity, or common-password restrictions. Exploitation requires a registered user to choose a guessable password; successful password guessing grants access to that user's account and its readable data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
