Data disclosure via weak RSA handshake key
Published Aug 27, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025
Inadequate encryption in editso Fuso 1.0.4-beta.0 through 1.0.4-beta.7 allows remote attackers to read protected data via a crafted key. The PenetrateRsaAndAesHandshake function in src/net/penetrate/handshake/mod.rs accepts a manipulated priv_key value without ensuring adequate cryptographic strength. Exploitation is unauthenticated and network-reachable but requires high attack complexity; published sources do not identify the exposed data or required key properties.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
