Device reboot via EtherNet/IP and CIP grammar tests
Published Jan 20, 2026 · Updated Jan 20, 2026
Uncontrolled resource consumption in ArmorStart LT V2.002 and earlier allows remote attackers to reboot the device via EtherNet/IP or CIP traffic. The protocol grammar-processing path consumes an uncontrolled but undisclosed resource while handling the Achilles test corpus, resetting the controller. No authentication or user interaction is required; each reboot drops the Link State Monitor for several seconds.
