Code execution via unvalidated PRT object bounds
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Autodesk Shared Components before 2026.5 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PRT file. The PRT parser fails to validate user-supplied object bounds before reading past the end of an allocated object. A user must open the file or visit a malicious page; exploitation runs in the current process and can also expose data or crash it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
