Code execution via uninitialized JT parser memory
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Uninitialized memory use in SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 SP0 through SP3 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted JT file. The JT file parser accesses memory that has not been properly initialized while processing attacker-controlled file content. A target must open the file or visit a malicious page, and the resulting code runs in the context of the eDrawings process.
