Code execution via freed PAR object
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Sep 17, 2025
Use-after-free in Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 SP0 through SP3 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted PAR file. The PAR parser fails to verify that an object still exists before operating on it, causing a freed object to be reused. Exploitation requires the target to open the file or visit a malicious page, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process context.
