Script execution via unencoded Name reflection
Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2025
Reflected XSS in Mtons Mblog 3.0 through 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to execute script via the Admin Panel Name parameter. The /admin/user/list search inserts the user-controlled Name value into its HTML response without output encoding or security checks. An administrator must open the crafted request; the injected script then runs in that browser context and can alter displayed content.
