Authenticated dangerous file upload via fileconnect
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in GreenCMS 2.3.0603 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write dangerous files through the media endpoint. The fileconnect action accepts upload[] content without restricting dangerous file types and stores attacker-controlled files beneath the web application. Low-privileged authenticated access is required, and exploitation writes attacker-controlled content to the server.
