Authenticated SSRF via unrestricted serverDownload URL
Published Aug 25, 2025 · Updated Aug 25, 2025
SSRF in KodBox 1.61's Download from Link handler allows remote authenticated users to make server-side requests via a crafted URL. The serverDownload method passes the untrusted url parameter to url_header and Downloader::start without restricting the destination. High-privileged access is required; successful requests can reach internal services and save returned content as a file.
